E&M Contractors is a family run construction company, in business since 1980. They are a family of artists, creators and entrepreneurs specializing in exterior carpentry, outdoor wooden buildings, additions, garages, porches, decks and fences.
Elizabeth and Mike started out in the late 70’s with chimney work and later roofing. As Mike gained more experience, he progressively leaned towards specialty work such as copper and other metal work requiring precise measurements and he preferred the artisan aspect of the work.
As Mike and Elizabeth also built a family over the years, they were blessed with two boys who grew up helping their father every summer learning the trade as well. The older son went on to become an artist. After the younger son attended George Brown to study building renovation, he became a partner in the company and they transitioned to specializing in carpentry and metal work with an eye for design and style.
With over 40 years of consistent great work in the Greater Toronto community, the company has continued to grow and evolve.
E&M works on jobs such as decks using all materials including exotic hardwoods, rebuilding porches, coach houses or garages, fences – especially where the terrain is difficult, siding, eavestrough, metal capping and more.
